Francisco de la Villa (Paco) brings over 30 years of leadership in several international enterprises to the Executive Forums process. Paco has held management positions principally in Auditing, Insurance and Strategic and Financial Advisory services.
Paco started his professional career with Price Waterhouse in Lima back in 1971. After four years he was transferred to the Boston Office on a three year International Exchange Program, where he developed Auditing and Systems Advisory skills. After this program was completed, and following his international career he went to Venezuela to manage Price Waterhouse auditing process of USA companies and the Venezuelan Oil Companies.
In 1980 Paco switched to the insurance and Reinsurance Industry, and was hired by Johnson & Higgins, and Willis Faber & Dumas Limited in New York to manage the Latin America Financial Area of this world wide first class brokers.
In his middle thirties, Paco decided to start his entrepreneurial career by creating an adjusting insurance company representing the biggest British Adjusting Enterprise, Thomas Howell Group. He was the President of the company and during ten years dealt with the most significant losses in the Peruvian market caused basically by terrorism, which in fact, affected the country amounting approximately US $25 billion dollars.
In 1996 Paco decided to go back to the consulting area working independently and keeping a very interesting portfolio of clients (industry, banking, insurance and Ministry of Economy, being responsible and working with a team of professionals, for the closing of the governmental financial institutions under Chapter 11. Also was the Executive Director of the Universidad de Lima in charge of establishing the strategy to develop new markets, and also strategic alliances with leading international organizations.
Finally in 2002, in conjunction with his wife Rossana started DLV & F Creativity Management and advisory organization focused on developing creative customized taylor-made products, she manages the Human Capital field and is highly positioned among leading head hunters in the Peruvian market.
Paco is also director of several companies and taught in the first ranked universities. Paco graduated from Universidad de Lima in Business, in Accounting from Universidad La Salle - Buenos Aires, Argentina and holds a Post Graduate degree in Finance from The University of Michigan.
A person of varied interests, he enjoys polo, sailing, cycling and rowing. In December 2004, Paco decided to become part of the Renaissance Executive Forums family. Paco is now principally focused in developing Renaissance EXECUTIVE FORUMS in Peru coordinating activities with Manolo Vega and jointly with his wife Rossana Bayona who at present has qualified as facilitator and in the process of launching her own groups.
